Kevin's Story
After graduation from BHS, I went to the University of Maine where I graduated in 1980 with a degree in Psychology. That being qualification to be the fry-basket monitor at a Burger King, and not being particularly clued in about who I was and what I wanted to do, I took a leap and joined the Air Force. After serving for more than 29 years, traveling the world, and reaching the rank of colonel, I retired and still had a fuzzy idea of what I wanted to be when I grew up. I took a teaching job in Saudi Arabia -- I had at least discovered that I liked teaching -- and my wife and I now live in Riyadh and have sinc...Expand for more
e late 2009. I return to the US a couple of times a year for business and vacation, but otherwise have settled into the expat life. I still love my memories of Maine, miss the people I grew up a little bit with there, and would return instantly if I could. Perhaps, someday... In the meantime, Sue and I will care for our cats, watch over our grown children as they make their way in life, and generally enjoy the fruits of our labors (Sue is also retired Air Force). I wish our class would have a reunion, but perhaps the years have run too far now. But I welcome old friends to catch up with me on classmates.
