kevin's Story
Kevin is from Augusta, Kansas. Kevin's schools include South High School. Kevin later attended WSU. I'm self employed, mostly finish carpentry now. I,ve wanted an old farm house to remodel so in 96 we bought the one that we are living in now. Its been a work in progress but I believe we are just about done with it. We put a room addition on to enlarge the kitchen which helped this house tremendously. We will have to put pictures of the house on here sometime so people can get an idea what was done. I work mostly east /northeast Wichita, western butler county. I have taken some jobs in Pasadena ,Texas, Huntsville ,Texas, Wellsberg, West Va. , .Ponca City, Oklahoma, Tulsa, and took a missions trip to Chihuahua, Mexico and Hot Springs, South Dakota. I have 3 children , Jessica,34 from my 1st marriage and Luke 20 and Joel 19. Luke is attending school at Southwestern in Winfield and Joel is attending KU. Joel isn't sure what he wants to major in yet and Luke is majoring in music with the emphasis on the organ. He wants to go to North Texas to get his doctorate on the organ. ill be having to get everything in order for that . Jessica is a nurse at a plastic surgery center in Wichita. She has 4 girls. What a hand full. Michelle, my wife, is a social worker for usd 259. and she tries to keep me in line. Ok a few years have passed and not much has changed. Still living in the farmhouse and about done with it. My daughter works for a plastic surgeon up on north Webb Rd.She now has 5 girls. 2 of them graduated from South in 2015. Both of my boys are up at KU now. Luke the Organists is getting his masters their. He received a full ride.His instructors have sweetin the pot for him if he wants to get a doctorate up there. And my other son Joel is majoring in theater design . So alot happening with them. I'm still pretty jacked up in my back and now arthritis is setting in in my hips and fingers. One of my customers told me once that the golden years sucked and the closer I get there the more I am inclined to believe him. Now my wife still works for USD 259 as a social worker. I think she finds the job rewarding. She has been there about 10 to 15 years this time around. Anyhow that's it for now.
