Kevin's Story
Well...things have been "interesting" (got to love that word.)
After MHS, went to Oberlin College where I majored in chemistry and mathematics. Half way though college I got convinced that medicine would be a good career. Applied for medical school and wound up going to University of Chicago, where I stayed for 8 years. During that time I got my MD, got married, and did a residency in psychiatry.
Moved to Philadelphia briefly, then came here to Seattle in 199...Expand for more
2 where I joined the VA to start a program for treating folks with both psychiatric and addiction problems. I also joined the University of Washington as regular faculty, found a home in health services research and am now an Associate Professor.
Over the last 16 years, I've traveled to all seven continents. I did not have kids during my first marriage, but remarried in December 2008 and my new wise, Jeannie, and I are in the process of investigating adoption.
