Who am I? Kim Kaopuiki's the name....graduated in 1986 from Farrington High. I'd do anything to relive our Senior year in High School: it was challenging, but fun. Was a member of the select choir, TADA, and one of the wrestling managers too. What have I been up to? Right after high school, I went to HPU and earned my first degree (Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Minor: English). Later, earned a Master of Arts degree in Education Specializing in Special Education. Immediately entered a Doctorate in Educational Leadership program, but took a break because the program was a full time job in itself. While meeting my educational goals, I worked for Outrigger Hotels, Safari Tours, Lanakila Elementary, Drug-Free Hawaii, ALU LIKE, and Farrington High (Yep, I got to teach at our alma mater). I currently teach a bunch of SaSsY lItTlE bOsSy & EnErGeTiC kids who everyone just gotta LuV; at Ka'ewai Elementary. When they achieve....I achieve! When they learn, I learn! When they win, We AlL wIn! If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have patience, humor, and FaItH to be able to deal with the day-to-day challenges life deals us. Many individuals impacted my life. Most of them have left us for now; but their spirit shines in my heart daily for they all gave me a piece of theirs'.
