Kimber's Story
I was in the Band (whoo! I loved the band, Mr. Hendrick and marching and concert season!!) and the French Club (I also loved Madame Duncan!). I also dated a boy that everyone thought I would marry... If I said his name, you would remember me, because he was a lot more outgoing and more popular than I was.
I hated school, but I made good grades. I never felt like I fit in. I made the mistake of trying to go to college, when I should have gone to work and to the community college and matured another year or two... I think my dad was pushing me out of town because he was afraid I'd end up pregnant or married.

I regret most were the ones my parents made! I can own my mistakes, but not theres... I am trying to live out that philosophy with my children as they are coming into their teens. God help me!
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dumb idea. As it turns out, they were WRONG, as I have been teaching my children at home for the past 14 years... (I have 10 years to go!!)
In 10 years, I hope to be teaching in a community college. I'm going to get there by finishing my education and getting a Master's Degree.
My best friend would tell you I'm overly fearful and obsessive, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as confident and patient.
