Kimberely's Story

Life Hello Every one, it's been awhile. My oldest brother Jeff and his family have been living in Laurel for some time. His boys went to Laurel Senior high(Mike and Dan). I have 3 grown children ranging in age from 29 to 32 ( youngest was in the service. He serviced for 91/2 years, getting out in april 2009). I have 5 grandchildren, with the oldest being 10 yrs and the youngest being born on the 28 of August. My daughter has just told us that she will be having a little boy in June 2010. I was a widow up until 16 1/2 years ago when I met and married a wonder man. I attend a communtiy college and recieved a Drafting degree, but have never used it. Decided I wanted to raise my children and not have someone else, do the job for me. I play bass guitar and for awhile belonged to a western band. At presant I'm on L&I, as I was hurt on the job. So for now I stay home taking care of my husband and the animals, the best that I can. I hope that all of you have had a great life so far and that you have gotten everything that you have always dreamed of. I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were not right, I taught preschool for awhile and then contained my education to become a draft person. I love to just sit on the beach and listen to the waves come in. Blowing off stream was once upon a time a long walk down the road into town, now I just laugh at the s...Expand for more
tupid things that people say and do; know that someday it will come back to them. My hero is the children that I have given birth to, as each one has their own mind and have been true to themselves. Yes they are mule headed like myself, but I would not have it any other way. Like in school I don't really follow sports. I hate reality tv, if I wanted that; I can have all I want in my own life. I have always had animals of some kind around me since I left home. Guess is was because my dad hated animals expect those we eat. My children have taught me that love doesn't go away, and that being a parent is the best thing in the world, but being a grandparent is even better. My best friend would tell you I'm outspoken, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as loud at times and quiet at others. I am a follower as life goes and that is okay. My favorite clothes are jeans and a loose fitting shirt.. I don't dress up very often and that is okay with me. I know where I want to be and that is home with loved ones and friends. The thing I remember the most about high school is studying so hard for the spelling test and never passing it. I know I learned more after school then I did in. But I still can't spell. Thank you for spell check, but if you spell the wrong word right, it does not catch that one for you. Guess we need grammer check as well..English teachers would really hate that (how about it Mr. Blaylock?)
