FIB: trust ops and HR ,2 hats in calabasas, marketing (transferred to downtown LA), retail planning. after the WFB merger, i was selected with shereen to be "the transition team," -- greatest job of my life -- woke at 430 am ran, then trained at the Y downtown and was to work by 7. trained again at lunch: double split, and then left for the day transferring all my calls to my cell or computer. . . like i said, bestt 11 mos and had enough severance i could have retired, but had a job lined up so took 2 mos off then worked for BONY, bank of new york, as trust administrator: it's debt service, very dull but billions are transferred via wires on debt service day. when u see this hwy or proj is funded by: those bonds have to be paid somehow and shareholders accounted for. well, that's what i did. a lot of math, very very boring!!. but once they learned i knew the computer very well, i took on proj after proj and it was hell.. . over worked and under paid to commute from MB to LA. tried some of the quiz's last night. think it's funny. candy and car are accurate - tho i can, tech terms, heel,toe and drift thru curves in our 911 or any rear wheel driven car. front wheel is much harder, but doable . . . ironically my mom taught me & my son is fantastic at it, much better than i. my son was signed at 7 to be a future pro skateboarder but my guy, a banker, squashed it. still my son got free decks and completes from lance. lived in so pass then; where van halen started out not far from dlr now. my son is a fantastic snowboarder too, he doesn't like my style cause im goofy, same as when i skateboarded as a kid, and did the usual 1/4-1/2 pipes and pools and ramps.yep always a tomboy! funny how our children out do us in soooo many areas, but it is as it should be, wish only the best for them. my son had to 1 up me, and do all the new stuff which i cant do. he ollie's and all the rest. i'll try to scan pics in. my guy is still with wells, but now evp of wells capital mgmt, and unfortunately, rarely home. he just came home last week after weeks away, and is off to London this afternoon. at least this time it's just for 1 week. for the most part, he's abroad w/ 1 wk in between, bit sad but ignites the passion and communication which after 21 yrs a lot of couples can lose and i'm thankful we haven't!! he still says i'm the sexiest woman he's ever known, but then i feel exactly the same lol. . my guy asked me a few yrs ago to retire, and i was delighted to be a full-time mommy again! they were children then /young adults now and are better for it.
