Kimberly's Story
Life
I've been busy since graduation. Got married had two kids. Hit a few bumps in the road got divorced. Met my current husband, had child number three, got married. Second times the charm :) I was working as a wedding Officiant and working on writing a book, but recently for health reasons I've had to put work on the back burner. So right now I am a full time mom.
Found out in June of 2005 that I have several brain tumors in the right frontal lobe of my brain.(the exact type of tumor has not been established but they appear to be meningiomas). Surgery is currently out of the question because of their small size (a little more than a cm each) and location. I'm following up with a new medical team and hopefully they will be able to come up with a better treatment plan.

the meantime I get to spend more time with my family and will be working on a couple of book related projects I've been putting off.
UPDATE: (10/17/2007) I've gone back to school> I'm working on my bachelpr's degree in criminal justice specializing in forensics. UPDATE: (6/18/2008) I will be having a craniotomy 7/8/2008 to remove one of the tumors from my optic nerve.

If I could turn back the clock I would have been more out going. I wouldn't have let others opinions bother me as much as they did;
Looking back I wish I would have put more effort into my studies.
Now I'm back in school studying for my college degree. Loving every minute of it.

Intravenous caffeine.....won't someone please come up with a good solution for juggling kids, work, and college....LOL
