Kimberly's Story
Life
Hi all, I am a divorced single mom with a 13 yr old daughter at home. I have three older adopted girls who are grown and and raising my grandkids that I absolutely adore (3 boys and 1 girl). When my mother died, I bounced between my fathers house in Mt. Clemens and my grandparents in Colorado Springs. It made it really hard to keep with school and friends. I am trying to find some old friends so that I can show my kids some roots from my past, and put my life back together. So contact me if you want to talk
School
Since I bounced from Mt. Clemens to Colorado Springs, I attended different High schools. I attended school in Mt. Clemens from 6th grade at santilli elementary til 10 grade at Clintondale High. Then my troubles began. I then started bouncing between Clintondale and Coronado High in Colorado Springs. It got to be too much, so I dropped out of school until I turned 18. o Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) all day and Palmer night school at night to finish 10th-12th grade in 2 yrs before I turned 21. I completed high school and got my diploma. I was very proud of myself after all I had went through to accomplish my feat, but I never forgot my friends in Mt. Clemems.
Workplace
While in high school, I worked at Mc Donalds. Then I worked at the Frito Lay Plant and King Pin Bowling Lanes for several years. I then found a cool job at NCR working in a fab in the semiconductor field and stayed there until they closed their doors in 2001. In 2002, I started working at Atmel Corporation which is also a semiconductor fab, where I still currently work. The hours are grueling but worth it to have more time with my family. I work Wed-Fri and every other Sat. from 6:45 PM- 7:15 AM. I also live 60 miles from my job, so I cummute 1hr and 15 mins each way daily so time is limited. But then I am off work completely every other Sat and Sun-Tues to spend time with my family
