Kimberly's Story

Life After high school I went out west and traveled back and forth from CO to MI, then to AK. Tended bar for many years, then went back to school and got my BS degree in elementary education when I was 31! I finished my master's degree in Reading Education at Oakland University. Got married at 27, kids at 35 and 37, and have been teaching in RO for 18 years! We bought a cottage in the UP last year,...Expand for more
and have been spending time with Laura and Christopher (13 and 14) dirt biking, 4 wheeling and hiking in the woods. We love to kayak on the Pine River and go to Mackinac Island to sip rum runners at the Pink Pony! I love life and count my blessings every day...I look forward to the day when there is a change in our government that will even out the playing field for those with fewer opportunities.
