Kimbley R.'s Story
Life
Well kids:
I attended Bradley University after High School for one year.
Then I went into the Army. There I ran into many of my highschool friends for example I ran into Roger Davison while walking along a street in Germany in 1982.
When I finished my tour of duty, I went back to Bradley for my Sophmore year then I dropped out to care for my nieces and nephews (long story).
I'm still in the act of furthering my education while working full time in Sears Holding Corporation's Corporate Offices as a Assistant Buyer for IT.
I once lived in Rogers Park in a Lake view apartment that came without kids.
But during the last 3 years I have taken advantage of my Veteran's status to purchase a house on the South-Side (I missed it...Expand for more
).
There are many changes yet to come in my life. The age of 43 is no more than a side-bar.

School
I must say Morgan Park was a good thing.
I watched young white kids go from saying the 'F' word every other sentence to carring on sane conversations.
I watched black kids gain confidence dealing in a multicultural world during a time period where education and segregation were 'watch words'.
Workplace
Worked for Sears 5 years.
Was transitioned over to CSC in June of 2004.
I return as a Sear's Associate in 2005 with the ending of the CSC contract.
In 2007 my job was outsourced to India. For 18 months I was unemployed until October of 2008. I currently employed as a Billing Assistant for Aon Risk Services - downtown Chicago.
