Kit's Story
After leaving Thornton, I joined the Army and saw a bit of the world, but mostly New Jersey! I moved out West and spent some time in Reno, NV. ( I ran into Andris Lannon there, and spent a few nights rehashing the "old days".) When I left NV I took a son, Alex, with me and left behind a marriage. I then came to Washington State.
I have since left the Army (1996) settled down with Mr.Right and moved the very small town of Port Angeles. Our son Connor was born in 1996. We lost our son, Max in 1997, he was 19 days old. We were lucky and our youngest, Darby was born in 1999. We are through having kids and have been working on careers instead....Expand for more
I spent my non-military years primarily in the restaurant industry, I returned to college to change careers, became a medical/surgical assistant. Since graduating last summer, I have returned to restaurant and helped some friends to open a new concept restaurant here in town. Now, I am still working in restaurant, but in equipment sales.
My husband, Brude, was a Ranger sniper in the Army, but has settled down considerably in the interim. He got his degrees in computers, network security etc., but is now employed at the Westport Shipyard, here in town.
My son Alex, now 15, lives in Nevada. Son Connor 11 and Daughter Darby 8, live with me.
