Katheren's Story
Life
Hello everybody,
Life is great!!! I am down at Ft. Benning, GA right now working at the CRC (CONUS Replacement Center). We deploy and redeploy all the individuals (to include all branches of service and all types of civilians). I am a SFC (Sergeant First Class - E7) and I am working in the S4 shop. I met my husband SFC Ron Quinn down here on 4 Aug 2003 and we got married on 12 Dec 2003. He works over at OCS (Officer Candidate School) as a TAC (which is like a Drill Sergeant). We do not have any children and we are not planning to have any - just our fur children (8 cats & 5 dogs). I am looking forward to hearing from you.

My husband is now a 1SG (promoted on 1 Jun 06) and is the 1SG of Charlie Co (still at OCS). I am still doing the same old thing.

E Commander. Its a pretty sweet job. I get to travel with the BDE Chaplain and we get to go to LA, Porto Rico, FL, AL, TX, and GA to visit all of the units. He is the best road dog anyone can ask for (lol). I work for a company called Cape Fox Professional Services on Ft Benning. We provide motorcycle training to the soldiers, civilians, and the family members. How bad can life be when u get paid to ride??? Can u say stress free?!?!
Ron my husband is still over in Germany and will return to the states by this December (we hope). He is putting in his paperwork for the SGM board that is being held this Aug and that will ditermine when and where he will go after Germany. I am just glad it isn't in the box right now (Iraq or Afg). He is a 1sg right now for several warrior transition units in Germany and it seems that he never gets a day off. I am hoping things will change when he PCS's.
By the way we still have the 8 cats but we are down to 2 dogs...thank goodness!!! (we gave the other 3 away)
