Life I live with my wife Wendei, 2 kids, our 3-legged dog, a Bengal cat, & a hamster in Southern California up against the foothills above Burbank not too far from my other 3 kids & 1 grand kid & the rest of my family. I enjoy listening to live music, golfing whenever I can, & coming up with creative excuses for getting together with old friends to catch up, reflect on some fun times, & solve the world's major problems (at least in our heads that's what we think we are doing). School I went to many schools, mostly as a result of my family moving around frequently. I had a fun freshman year at La Serna High in Whittier, the moved & did my sophomore year at College Park High in Pleasant Hill, & then junior & senior years at Antioch High. Then moving back to Whittier after HS with my family I went to Rio Hondo JC for a semester before taking a 3 year detour in the Navy learning about radio electronics & submarine systems. At San Diego State I earned a degree in Communications & since then I have been fortunate enough to have received a ton of military training & corporate education working for some of the largest companies in the world. Military I did boot camp, Radio A School, and Morse Code School in San Diego, then Sub School in Groton in '74, then did 3 patrols as part of the gold crew of the submarine Teddy Roosevelt (SSBN 600) based in Pearl Harbor & Guam until May 1976. My whole reason for joining was to get the GI Bill to pay for me to go to college - but I was lucky to also make some good lifetime friends, learn a ton of fascinating technology, & get a chance to travel. Workplace I mowed lawns, washed cars, delivered papers, swept theaters, painted houses, & cleaned tables as a kid. I got my first company job working part-time for Sears, then quit to spend 2.5 years in the Navy aboar...Expand for more
