Krista's Story
Life
I go to CSU, Stanislaus now, live with Josh Verdegaal in a nice 2 bedroom apartment in Turlock, have two cats, and volunteer at Colony Oak Elementary in Ripon in Mrs. Verdegaal's fourth grade class.
I live a pretty ordinary and simple life as far as lives go. I am happy with things and can hardly wait to accomplish the rest of my goals.
School
Ok, well I went to a few different schools for elementary, but spent the most time at Joshua Cowell Elementary. I started high school at Manteca High, but had to move to Ripon and go to Ripon High because of my sister's constant delinquency. (She's 22 and married with two kids, btw.)
At Ripon High, I was a cheerleader for two years and graduated with pretty decent grades.
Outside of school, I earned my black belt in tae kwon do sophomore year, my second degree during junior year, and my third degree black belt my sophomore year of college.
College
I'm still going to CSU, Stanislaus. I'm a junior now in the Liberal Studies major. I have a year and a half left until I graduate with my BA and another semester after that for my California Multiple Subject Credential and then I will start teaching.

n with my boyfriend, Josh Verdegaal, and his roommate, Nathan Winchell. Josh and I moved to a different apartment when the lease was up, and again to a different apartment over a year later (all in Turlock). We live in a great apartment with our two cats, Ace and Lily. We're kind of crazy and the cats are more like children to us.
We plan to get married as soon as I graduate. Josh already has his BA in Criminal Justice and is in the Master's Program for Public Administration at CSUS. All in all, I'm very happy and very grateful for the life that I have.
Workplace
I don't have an extensive resume as of yet. I have worked for Schaffer's Tae Kwon Do in Ripon here and there for years now. I worked at a great ice cream shop called Sweets in Ripon during senior year of high school. I loved that job, but I moved to Turlock for college. I worked briefly at the college, but it's hardly worth mentioning. For six months last year I worked at Longs Drugs Store 118 as a cashier; boy did that suck. That was hell on a stick every day, so I quit and got a job as a Paraprofessional III for Ceres Unified School District (basically a classroom aide for severely handicapped students), but that was on a substitute basis and they never needed me to sub. Now I am happily living on hopes and dreams, and daddy's money and student loans.
