Kristan's Story
I'm in Milwaukee and have my own architecture & design practice. After grad school I relocated to Chicago to dig in and get dirty and work with big projects. I moved back to Milwaukee slightly exhausted, and happy to get closer to my family. I'm also missing many things that a large city like Chicago offers.

small lake to a high-rise overlooking Lake Michigan in Chicago. I love to see new places and meet new people. My favorite places to hang out are where I'll get a chance to chat and hear a couple of good stories.
After high school I started architecture school and became involved in sustainable building, which led to grad school studies human ecology and the structure of cities. I work in both planning/urban design and architecture, specializing in design.
