Life Since graduation, I partied way too hard, traveled, and then worked part-time while putting myself through school to become a legal secretary. Now, I'm a paralegal for a criminal law firm in Punta Gorda and have been at this firm for over 14 years. I HAD 2 awesome colossal doggies that I loved with all of my heart and soul. Since I have no children, I considered them my kids! I am engaged and we own a home together. In January 2006, I was treated for thyroid cancer; and to date, I am still cancer-free! What a life-changing and absolutely horrible experience! Now I have a totally different outlook on life. Do things and be with people that make you happy because life is way too short so take advantage of it while you can. I strive to be a good person but I do NOT tolerate anyone's crud, especially if I've been nice to them. So somewhere along the way, I must have developed a conscience. lol.
