Kristen's Story
Graduated from CHS in 1998, joined Americorps and served 1700 hours of community Service for City Year in White Center (Burien). Went to Shoreline CC, Cascadia CC and graduated from UW in 2003. I spent 4 summers between school working at a resident camp. When I graduated from UW I went on a road trip with camp friends to Texas, then moved to Hawaii with my best friend. alia to visit friends and had 5 of the most amazing weeks of my life! Since then I worked for the Northshore YMCA for 2 1/2 years running a Youth Center, and now I work at Cascadia Community College. Two and a half years ago Michael, my husband, and I got married on the 10 year anniversary of the day we met back in 1996. We have been together for 12 1/2 years, married for 2 1/2! We can't wait to buy a house and have kids!
