Life After high school I played around with a few colleges, but somehow that didn't fit in to my care free life-style. So I went to Big"D" and found my life there from age 19-36. Because of the cosmetology program I took at Seguin High I was able to get some great jobs in the hair industry. And even owned my own salon at age 22 for 7 years. Married my husband Rand in 1999. We have 3 adult children and live in Corpus Christ now. I married at age 27, and that lasted for a short 2 years and then was in and out of meaningless relationships. It was then when I began to search for more meaning in life. That is where God met me! I began going to different chuches seeking to know our Father more intimatly and rededicated my life to Christ in 1996 at Fellowship Bible Church in Dallas. There was a group of people from that church that were going on a missions trip to Uganda, Africa. I thought Africa....how cool! But, knew nothing about Uganda. Didn't matter! There was 1 spot available to go and I had to raise $3500 in 3 weeks....Expand for more
