Kristin's Story
Life
Hmmm...life after high school...Well, I graduated from Florida State University. Afterwards, I lived in Tampa for about 4 years and worked at T. Rowe Price Investments. Wasn't really my thing, so I jetted off to California to attend law school. Completed my first year, when I met the man who would become my husband that following summer. We lived in Hollywood, CA for about a year when I learned that my uncle died in a motorcycle accident. That sent myself and my husband back home to Lakeland.
Now, we've been living here in Lakeland for 5 1/2 years now. I have been working for a law firm in Bartow for the last 5 years, and really enjoy my job. I have a great boss to work for. My husband has been working for Publix for the last 5 1/2 years. We are currently looking to move from Lakeland to Bartow.
My husband and I have three wonderful kids. Aiden - age 5; Alyssa - age 4...Expand for more
; and Alex - age 1. I've got my hands full, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
School
High school was high school. I enjoyed my time there, did just about everything I wanted to, had some good times, and some nutty times. But, by the end of high school, I was ready to move on and move out. I enjoyed by high school days, but I have not desire to relive them. I just prefer to relish in my own memories.
College
College was a freakin' blast! Man...I had some good times there. It's a wonder that I'm still alive:) There was a lot of partying, many times dragging myself to class hung over...or having stayed up all night! It was during FSU's amazing football team during the 90's, so we were on top of our game and celebrated often. I made some fantastic and wonderful friends there.
Eventually, I grew out of the college phase...graduated...and moved on to the working field.
