Kristin's Story
Life
To best get the whole full story, talk to me/myself on yah. My lady vixen 71 with no spaces is best way to reach me. Hm, well, I have lived in several states, IL,WI,MN,PA,IN and TX. After high school and college in IL, I met my x-husband; and after that dissolved, I moved to IN, then TX for some time for work purposes. Then moved back home to the Chicagoland, to help my brother with a restaurant he had opened. After that, I moved back to Texas where I have otherwise lived since '97.
I like to hang with my friends, which majority are a part of a medievil/renn. group that is world-wide called AMTGARD. I have been a part of it for some years, it's a lot of fun, and because of it, I have gotten back into archery, exercising due to the battlegames, and sewing.
Currently for mundane work, I have employed with a convenience store company; however, I am currently going through Academy for Emergency. My latest de-stress is anime. Which I have some of my fav's in my pix area in lieu of personal pics for now.
School
Well, at South High I had fun in choir, band and theatre. Never judge a book by the cover! If you ever watched the American Pie trilogy, you have a clue on how fun/cool the band, choir & theatre "geeks" can be. Anyhow, after hi...Expand for more
gh school, I took a short break before going to Harper College, enjoyed my time there with the people in classes and with the Sci/Fi Club. We had a blast. I miss that group very much. I would love to hook back up with them if they ever catch the message. Since the few semesters that I spent then, I went on to do the work thing, marriage thing, and came back to do another course in 2002 for work purposes. I plan to resume courses, but since I am in another state I guess Harper wont see me for awhile again, lol.
Workplace
HMMM, well, I have had my hand in many fields of work, though customer service has been the primary theme of most. For instance, restaurants, grocery stores, retail,and marketing research. I have to say I like working with people, even when they are upset people-I can make them more frustrated because I don't blow up at them, or make them happy because I help them. Right now, I like my job, the customers that come in are usually really great. The store I have been in lately is a really small town. I think Cary or Fox River Grove back "in the day" would have still been bigger by far. I am loving the Academy, it is funny to hear the silly calls, but heart-warming to have the helpful ones, and grounding to hear the sad ones.
