Kristina's Story
Life
I am happily married and have a beautiful son, Andruw, and newborn daughter, Savannah. We currently reside in South Dakota due to a job offer. It's different, but so nice to have clean air and virtually no traffic!
I graduated Kennesaw State Univeristy with a degree in Economics to decide that I enjoyed working with dogs. I became a certified dog trainer and am enjoying my career choice. I hope to open my own training facility in the future.
College
I attended Kennesaw State University and saved money by living at home. I met one of my best friends, Mary, in a business management class that led to meeting my husband.
Mary and I became friends in Business Mangagement and she became friends with Adrienne in Accounting (I had the class to, but we didn't sit together). Adrienne invited Mary (who invited me) out to the Masquerade for 80's night. That's where I met Adrienne's friend John (who she went with every week) and it was love at first sight!
The funny part is that I thought that Ad...Expand for more
rienne might have a romantic interest in John so I didn't make any moves (every girl knows not to hit on a guy another girl is after). Adrienne knew I was John's type, but told him to not to "scare me off" by coming on to strong. So we danced with eyes locked on each other the entire night, but neither making a move.
On the way out I made a comment to Mary about how hot John was. She asked why I didn't hit on him and I told her why and she informed me that there was nothing between Adrienne and John. Next accounting class I walked into the room and Mary shouted out "He likes you too!" It was hilarious and made me feel like I was in high school again.
John and I got married 11 months after that fateful night!
Workplace
My first job was working for 5 years at White Water. It was the best job to have in high school. Not only did I get paid, I got free tickets to bring my friends or family to the park in every paycheck and I got to go for free anytime I wasn't working! It was a lot of fun summers!
