Kristina's Story
Life
I met my husband at the U of A, got engaged, moved to Massachusetts for grad school, got married Jan 1994. Finished school, moved to Colorado, moved back to Mass for work and stayed until May 2006. Lived in Richmond, VA for one year and now we living just north of San Francisco in California. I have been a complete vegetarian for 16 years. I have been a speech-language pathologist for 13 years. I have a beautiful two and a half year old boy, Oliver; a handsome, fantastic, cute and very smart seven year old boy, Owen; a one and a half year old Labradoodle puppy, Bean and a three year old basset hound. I am really lucky and happy, love my family and good friends. My best friend is still Lisa Lucking (now Hoffman), after all these years and who just had her first baby on June 17, 2008. School
I moved to Tucson just before my sophmore year. My closest friends were Lisa Lucking and Amy Ruby, also Amy Whetherhult, Danica Enderle and Will Conway. I didn't really fit into any clicks, but had friends in a lot of different groups...I think. I was an average swimmer and stuck with it through my junior year, then quit to pursue more exciting adventures, which got me into a lot more trouble. Favorite memories all include hanging out in the parking lot after school with the skaters and events in classes with some of my silliest friends like Jason Dahlke, Will Conway, Danica Enderle, Mikko Pippo, Tina Parissi, etc. I liked my time in high school and had some good friends.
College
I traveled around for my undergrad...Pima, ASU and finally graduated from U of A with a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences (with a fiance to boot). Moved to Boston and went to Emerson College and received a M.S. in Communication Disorders.
