Krystal's Story

Life I bought a house where my hubby Matt, my son Colt, and I live with our 3 cats (Reuben, Ace, and Spunkie) and 1 dog (Belle). I've been working at Pitney Bowes for almost fifteen years now, along with some other Neenah High School classmates that have come and gone. I like to play pool and darts but don't get the chance very often anymore. I am on Facebook if you want to get reacquainted. I always wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, I don't think I could ever do it. To blow off steam I like to play video games. I also tend to clean when I'm angry or nervous. I'm not really sure what the wildest thing was. We did some pretty stupid stuff. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have faith, trust, and pixie dust to be able to deal with the day-to-day. No, seriously I need to have fun, friends, and decent managers. My dad is my hero. He is the kindest man I've ever known and is always willing to help people whether he knows them, likes them, etc. I was born and raised in Neenah. I moved to Larsen for about two years, then to Appleton for about 4 years, Neenah again for a year, and back to Appleton in 08 where I bought a house. I love Prison Break, Scrubs, Family Guy, and Big Bang Theory! I am addicted to video games.. mostly on xBox 360, but I like Wii, PS2/3, and Nintendo DS as well. My biggest surprise is meeting my hubby and best friend (Matt) at work and falling in love with him. We got married in August of 2009! If I could improve my home, I'd add on a 4 seasons room. My dream home would be pretty close to what I have but in the country. I've been a mother since 2000 and learn more everyday. It amazes me how much kids know and see and learn. I've learned to be more patient and understanding. My favorite teacher was Mr. Counard. He was fun and energetic and I loved how he always got comfortable and walked around in his socks. If I won $100 million, I'd give 25% of it to my parents, then spend the rest on my house, my family and those I l...Expand for more
ove and trust. I have never lived in a dorm. To be truly happy I would be home, playing games and/or snuggling, with Matt and Colt. My current age is 35. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be successful. I was so completely wrong. I have been at Pitney Bowes since 2001. I have completed certification in A+. I am constantly learning new things and pushing the envelope. I'm not really sure what happened to my first crush. We run into each other every few years and last I heard he split from Michelle and was working at Oshkosh Truck. My best friend would tell you I'm outgoing and fun, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as shy and quiet. I think the weirdest job I ever had was Days Inn. My sister and I were maids and she quit, but they took me off the schedule instead and kept calling her asking why she wasn't showing up to work her shifts. Stupid people! My biggest victory was passing my A+ tests. A lot of people didn't make it and I am proud to say that I did! I guess I would have stayed in school, however I'm doing better than some of the people that graduated, so I really can't complain! I got my HSED and I must say it was incredibly easy for me. In 10 years, I hope to be more financially stable. I'm going to get there by working my butt off like I have been. I'd have to go with Andrea because we clicked right away. I used to call Amy and Andrea would answer and we would just talk forever! I really don't know what people thought about me in school, so I don't know what would surprise them now. My first job was at the Raveno Ballroom, where I got paid $3.85 I think to clean, bus tables, and help in the kitchen. What I remember most about it is Saturday mornings when we would be there to clean. We would listen to the jukebox and have a great time while getting the job done. A childhood memory I will never forget is playing Truth or Dare at Amy and Andrea's house. Andrea and I had to walk around the block with no shirts and on the last turn there was a guy walking toward us.
