I have been working in sun city at the alf for almost four years. I have been doing CNA work and alot of people look down on me for it. They say that I have a dirty job, blah blah blah, and that I don't make a good living, which might have a small amount of truth to it financially, but It's better than my old jobs. And also, they shake their heads when they find out that I work in an alzheimer (memory enhancement) building, which is locked down. But...Expand for more
you know what? I am happy. Yes, I DO work VERY HARD for my money and at times it can be trying, however, let me tell you guys something. How many of you can evaluate your jobs and honestly say that you are positively making a difference in people's lives because of your occupation. That you are an inspiration and assist in making the last stages of peoples lives worth-while. When I come home from work, I feel blessed every single day. And it is all worth it to me.
