Where oh where to start? Here we go 36 years in a nutshell....After graduating in June of 77 got a job at Long Island Park Headquarters at Belmont Lake for 5 months, joined the Army at Fort Hamilton (under the Verrazano Bridge in Brooklyn) in Aug 77, and reported for Basic Training at Ft. Dix in Nov of 77. After advanced training in Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland was sent to Mannheim West Germany in March of 78 (first airplane ride) and stayed in Mannheim until Apr of 81. Sent to Fort Hood Texas and stayed there until Feb of 85 and was again sent back to Germany this time in Nuremberg. Met my future wife who was in my platoon and then left Nuremberg in Jan of 88. Went back again to Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland for Warrant Officer school and in June of 88 became an Army Officer. In July of 88 I was sent to Fort Carson Co a brand new Warrant Officer. In August of 88 I came back to MD to get married and my new wife and I spent our honeymoon traveling from Baltimore to Colorado Springs CO!...Expand for more
