Kurt's Story
Life
Let's see. After I graduated from high school in 1984 I went to Selkirk College for a semester or so, but that didn't work out well for me. I moved to Calgary in 1985 and worked for two years before heading out to Quebec to convert the heathens there. I returned to Chetwynd B.C. where my parents lived in 1989, and then moved back to Calgary in 1990. I worked, went to university part-time and even got engaged before moving to Waterloo Ontario in 1991. In Ontario I took engineering on and off for too long, finally getting my degree in Systems Design in 2003. Meanwhile, I had been working in software development, got married in 1995, had a son (Keenan) in 1998, a daughter (Serena) in 2000.

nd when I started questioning my religious convictions I came to realize that I was living a lie. I left my religion in 2001, separated in 2002, and the divorce became final in 2006.
I usually work as a software contractor. Right now I live in a camper and have been hanging around Vancouver Island, but depending on my next contract I could move anywhere. I find that I really enjoy playing squash.
I find that I'm a reluctant existentialist. I would prefer that life had intrinsic meaning but I find that it doesn't appear to, which for me is not pleasant. I find that my kids form a large part of my reason for being. I've been trying to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life and I still don't know after a year of soul searching.
