lamarr's Story
Hello classmates, it's been a long long time. Afte high school I went to Valley college , then went to work in law enforcement. In 1977 I was appointed Director of public safety/university police for Loma Linda university. My wife , Joanne (class of 68) became a teacher for the San Bernardino school system. I finished my BA at Southwestern University.
My dept. grew to 42 people, and all was well till 1984 when Joanne was discovered with breast cancer. After almost two years of hell and craziness, Joanne died in my arms in late 1985, leaving me with two beautiful young girls.
A couple of years later, I remarried, a fine woman I had known for years, her first husband was a close friend, and he died of a brain aneyurism while jogging.
In 1994, after 25 years of working in law enforcement and management, my health deteriorated to the point that I took a medical retirement, and we moved to a small town ...Expand for more

My daughters both graduated from college, and are professional women.
We love Arizona, and are happy and well in the desert My oldest daughter holds a degree in Clothing design, and has been responsible for the costumes in the Blue Man show in Las Vegas for 10 years My youngest daughter holds multiple degree's in journalism, photography, and anthropology. She has traveled to every continent but Antarctica. Her photographs have been published many, many times, you probably have seen them. When not traveling on photo assignments, or traveling for different Governments on anthropological assignments, she lives in New Orleans and teaches photography.
