Lance's Story
Life
Wow..a life bio...ok, you asked for it. A bit on the complicated side with alot of moving around. After High School in Japan (of which I wouldn't trade for anything), I opted for enlisting in the Navy to 'find myself'. I found myself alright...found myself on a ship in the middle of the Atlantic rather quickly! After many years of a tumultuous on and off relationship with my High School love stretching from the High School years into the military years - that finally went sour. Not sure I'll actually ever be over that one..but we find a way to move on. Fate soon found me as a Naval Aircrewman in the helicopter community...fun and all, but fate eventually smiled on me even brighter when I moved to flying for many years as an Antisubmarine Warfare crewman aboard the very forgiving P-3 Orion. r unique deployment to a not-so-fun area where they shoot at you, so after 20 years of fun, I opted to 'retire' and pursue a different career. Somewhere in the middle, I eventually married a Dr's daughter :) and we continued to move here and there until finally finishing up in the Navy and moved back to the beautiful state of Washington. Have two beautiful daughters, one has been attending a University, and the other just graduated from H.S. and will be attending a University as well. As if I couldn't get enough of the military, I am emloyed with DoD as a Naval Security Manager (no, not guarding a gate!) in a very 'secure' ocean surveillance facility. Plenty of stress, but at least I can now afford to do those things I enjoy most such as riding my m/cycle (my baby!) and working on my Camaro - which I've had for almost 30 years..yikes! Anyways...would love to hear from any past acquaintances.
