lance is married. lance's schools include Roosevelt High School. lance later attended Fresno State (Accounting). Music lance likes includes Kim Carnes - Singer, The Coasters, Jerry Lee Lewis. The Eagles. Heart. Dire Straits. Fleetwood Mac. Pat Benatar. Cream. Janis Joplin. Creedance Clearwater. Lynerd Skynerd. Many many more. More about lance:"Attended Fresno State College (now a university) Sept 1962 to Jan 1968. Graduated with B.S. degree in Accounting. Drafted into U.S.Army May 1968. Training at Fort Ord in Monterey County, California. Shipped to Vietnam arriving about Nov 1st, 1968. Completed tour assigned to the Phoenix Program in the Mekong Delta. Returned to U.S. at end of October...Expand for more
1969. Reassigned to training unit with the 5th Infantry Division, Mechanized, at Fort Carson Colorado. Served until I was discharged in June of 1970. Started work with Fresno County in California November 1970. Transferred my job to Santa Barbara County December 1972. Moved into private sector, construction business in San Luis Obiso County, about March of 1974. Continued in construction business until about October 1981, when I took job with the County of San Luis Obispo, California. It was there that I met my wife, Judy. I worked there until I retired in April 2002. We bought a retirment home in Curry County on the southern Oregon Coast in 2005 and have been happlily living there ever since.".

I went down to our local commercial fishing dock to shoot  pictures of birds in flight and these two were the best of bunch I got that day.

I encountered this tiny critter while doing to some yard work.   This is an insect, a type of Walking Stick, seen here on my thumb for a size reference.
This guy was in our neighbors yard.  He had grown very comfortable with human presence.
