Lani's Story
Life
After having raised two daughters in San Jose, California as a divorced single parent, I married my husband George and took custody of two teenage boys at the same time. We have now been married for 15 years and live in the Almaden Valley of San Jose. He is a Lieutenant with the San Jose Police Department and is preparing for retirement in January 2004.

Our Children have all left the nest. Christine, the eldest, lives in Los Banos, is a Teacher and is the mother of my two terrific grandchildrens, Tyler, age 14 and Alyssa, age 8. Diane has recently purchased a home in Vancouver, WA, and is a workers compensation claims evaluator in Portland, OR. My two stepsons are Christopher, a Statistician, living in the Washington DC area, and Andrew a Resident Head and Neck Surgeon at UCLA Medical Center.
