Alana "Lani"'s Story
My Life:
I am a veteran of the US Navy.
I find true appreciation from ALL the mistakes I have made. Yes, every one of them; for they have never defined me, but helped mold me.
(Boy, there sure was a lot of molding going on!) lol
My son:
He is growing up and getting smarter each day & so does my love for him.
There's not a day that he can't lift my spirit and make me smile.
He's one of my proudest achievements.
My job:
I work for an aerospace company where I am a Supply Chain Source Specialist and Cost Analyst
for a couple of government contracted military installations.
My outlook on life:
Always strive to improve yourself - No matter the circumstances,
if you have the desire, things can change.

ked, but that's because I made myself an outsider. Kids are harsh and popularity (or lack there of) drives what ever social class they want to put you in. I had some serious identity issues due to other people's need to categorize me. I tried too hard to fit in and what I represented didn't ever really fit me. Conclusion - I've gotten over it and the real me couldn't be happier about me finally finding myself. I now know it was all part of the high school experience and not to be so hard on myself.
Military:
The most awesome thing I have ever done. No, I wasn't in any wars nor did I have to deal with any traumatic situations but I did grow up, learned self discipline and confidence and I am more independent because of it.
