Larry's Story

After retiring in 1990, we sailed our yacht from Vancouver to Mexico, living there for 18 months. We left Mexico in spring of 1992 and sailed the South Pacific for 7 years. Some of the countries we visited were French Polynesia, American Samoa, Western Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, New Zealand and A...Expand for more
ustralia. Our yacht was a 37ft sloop/cutter named IsaLei-Rua. We settled in New Zealand in 1997 and then moved to Australia in 2000 where I now reside.. We sold the boat in NZ when we moved to Australia in 2000, and we are still living there, in Queensland, where winter does not exist.
