(Update 2015) Retired Magistrate Judge Marine Corps Base Camp Lejuene (2008) I am still in the Marine Corps with retirement just over the horizon in a few more years. I finished out a couple of tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan and was promoted to a worthless desk job. I spend my time now training Marines for future deployments to a combat zone. It is the Marine Corps way of saying take a break; teach your experiences and knowledge about combat to those who are about to deploy to a hostile environment. Good news is after being gone so long either training for combat or deployed in a combat zone I now have time to spend at home and my wife.
