Life I left Georgia in 1960 after spending a couple of years at the U of G extension in Carrolton and went to San Antonio, Texas. Worked at Kelly AFB and went to school at an extension of U of T. Traveled the country in 62 and 63. Stopped in Los Angeles and applied for employment in Hughs Aircraft which let the draft board find me. Was in the Army in 63 to late in 65. Stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska and Da Nang, Vietnam. Got a some more college credits from the U of Alaska. Got home to California in September of 1965 and went to work at North American Aviation in October of 1965. Went to a computing trade school and got into the computing department soon after joining NAA. The company was purchased by Rockwell Int. in the early 70's. In 1971, got into the very beginnings of "telecommunications" for computing. Became project engineer for the building of a private company network that was competed in 1980. Continued to go to college and got a degree from UCLA in 1982. Became the companies consultant to NASA on the building of an inter-agency network. Got married in 1969, had two children and divorced in 1975. Got custody of the children in 1982 and raised them until they left the nest.
