Larry Paulauskas:  

Life has been an amazing journey since graduating Vail Deane. I ventured on my own (age 18) to Florida without knowing a soul, and went to the University of Central Florida in Orlando. I learned some valuable life skills: network with new people from all over the world, get my own pad, maintain it, clean it, cook (1st roomate turned out to be a chef), and in time I made alot of good friends. I studied hard, but somehow found time to get to Cocoa Beach most weekends. I graduated just after the 1986 Challenger disaster and so my dream at that time of working at NASA on the Space Shuttle fizzled. I moved back to NJ after school. I started in the Engineering field and got the wonderful opportunity to travel to many states and Germany on assignment. Lake Tahoe and the Grand Canyon were 2 awesome places to see. I later worked at Elizabethtown Water Co; first as a System Analyst and then later transitioned to the IT field and ultimately became the Lead Network Administrator. I met my significant other, Renica, there. She is originally from TN (Southern gal). I'm a consulting IT Telecom Network & Data Specialist and go from gig to gig on contract. It's...Expand for more
