Larry's Story
I married my best friend, Kathy Ulrich, also a 1966 Kimball grad. We never dated in HS but began dating after she was teaching and I was in law school. We married in 1973. We have one daughter, who has made us very proud. Unfortunately, Kathy was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 1997 and fought the disease head on for over 8 years. While she ultimately lost the battle in 2005, she and I, with our daughter, didn't let the disease defeat us. ...Expand for more
After losing my Kathy after 32 years of marriage, I had a real difficulty adjusting to being all alone. Our daughter lived out of Michigan and I found myself extremely lonely. Ultimately, I found a new woman and she and I married in May, 2011. We are very happy and, although we are both still working, we are enjoying traveling, weekends at the cottage on Lake Huron, and our kids and grandkids. I can say that God has been very good to me.
