Larry's Story
Some of you might remember me in basketball, football, shotput/discuss/javelin or baseball in the summer, catching one of Windsor's most memorable pitchers ( Phil Schmidt ). My siblings in descending order are Cathy, Bill, John and Rob, all accomplished atheletes. My brother John taught at Brennan for a while and coached au U of Windsor in track. We must have had great teachers at Brennan because we all teach or train others in some way or another
I have the best job in the world as an Academic Famly Physician at Western. My team of two residents RN and NP, look after about 2000 patients from the ages of 4 days to 103 yrs. I contnue to deliver babies, look after the dying and even make housecalls! I teach everyday, do ...Expand for more
research and will be working on a masters in the fall. Most of my Brennan peers are on the front porch, retired and I think that's a waste of time. I swallow life in big gulps and am looking forward to the next 30 years. I think I could still throw the shotput and had a great X-country skiing trip after Xmass. I have three great kids, Mike (23), Andrew (21) and Katelyn (19), who are all in University. My 31 year marriage fell apart 2-3 years ago and am still working out the details.
I hate pretentious people, food and gatherings. I am a simple man, a good gardening designer, carpenter, golfer and father. Hope that helps.
