Laura's Story
Ok - personal factoids. Joined the Air Force Fall of 1979 - actually showed up to basic on Thanksgiving that year. Spent 7 years on active duty as a Chapel Manager - mostly in Charleston SC then a 15 month tour at San Vito Italy. Married - managed 5 years of it and one son, Nicholas.
1987 moved back to MT (folks retired here) and went to UM with my 2 year old in tow and graduated at 30 years old with Bachelors in Business. Have been here every since (not quit sure how that happened since I was the...Expand for more
sibling who loved the moving part of being an Air Force brat). Meanwhile had a second son, married another 12 years (can't get that part right).
Currently, single parent to a 21 year old Junior at UM - Army ROTC and 17 year old Senior in high school, Matthew. Most of my career has been in the nonprofit world and am presently the business manager for the Presbyterian Church - one of the better jobs I have worked my butt off for and great co-workers.
