Life
Though I didn't end up graduating from Lakota, I do consider Lakota my Alma Mater. I spent my "formative" years there, and left just a short year & a half prior to graduation (I was planning on graduating mid-junior year). Gotta tell ya, high school post-Lakota sucked. Having moved to PA just 2 weeks before my junior year, I was looked upon as the "rich kid from Ohio" (huh???) and not treated well - very different from the down-home feel of Lakota, and West Chester in general. ifferent worlds) -- I just went to school, worked, graduated and never looked back (to PA, that is).
I've been with a major pharmaceutical company in Statistical Research for 13 yrs now. I've also worked with a couple of area rock bands, and have had the opportunity to meet and hang out with alot of celebrities I wouldn't otherwise have met. All in all, life has been good. There have been some major-league bad times, but that's what tests you and makes you stronger, right?
Hope all is well with my classmates from Lakota, and maybe we'll meet up again at a reunion sometime!
