Laura's Story
Life
Wow- it was a wild ride getting here (half-normalcy). Let's see...senior year of high school was probably the worst year of my life. I spent several years after that (OK, about 13) living a bohemian lifestyle. Wouldn't change a thing about it, though. I really met some interesting people along the way, traveled a lot, and came out of my shell big time. I married for the first time in 1990, and had a daughter in 1991 (she's 15, and a spitfire!). ghters, ages 16, 9, and 2. I am a RN, currently working as a disease management consultant. Before the end of the decade, I will hopefully finish my PhD at U of L, and be working as a professor of nursing science. Never thought I'd say that in high school! My husband is awesome- he's a former Marine, and a current Civil Engineering student at the Speed School. He also looks great in a kilt :). We have a house in the Mellwood/Zorn Ave. area, and we have a great life. My 16 year old also plays violin, but she doesn't want to go to YPAS.
