Laura's Story
I live in a suburb of Reading, PA. It is hard to believe that I have lived in PA. since I am seventeen years old. It sure is a long way from Bloomfield Hills Michigan in more ways than one. It has been difficult at times having no family in the state, especially in the beginning years. However, when I started my own family, it became easier. My husband and I have four children between us and four grands. My oldest, Sean (46) and his wife are drug reps for Merck. They live in the State College ( Penn State grads ) area and are the parents of two girls, 18 and 20 yrs old. My husband's son Shane (42) who I have raised is a mixed martial arts instructor and referees events all over the world .He and his wife are parents of our 9 yr. old grandson..They live nearby and w...Expand for more
e watch our grandson often. .Our baby Jenica (36) is a grad of her Dad's alma mater (Albright College) and works as an insurance liasion for Enterprise. She and her husband are parents of our two year old grand-daughter.. My husband, Frank is an estimator for an alumiinium foundry. Up until 15 years ago, I worked ft as a MH foster care case manager. I was attacked at work by a client and permanently disabled. I also was a foster parent to 20 children and teens until my health gave out.
I am enjoying connecting with old friends of which there are many, considering that I went to three different schools in three different states. My parents were always searching for schools the further away the better. Well, that's another story.......from this wild child.... .
