Hmm...what can I say about nursing school? Nursing is definately a profession that you perfect with experience. I would love to take some of those courses over again, like Anatomy and Physiology, Patho, and Phys Assessment -- now that I'm working in the field, the basics may make more sense! If I remember one thing, it is Sandy's test questions "describe what happens when you breathe"....and the entire class takes a collective breath in. Best study guide = The Magic School Bus. sical exams on fellow students, and humor as a gen ed. "Working" for free - and home by 1pm. Can I have that schedule back?
Workplace
What can I say about being a nurse? There are political issues, lack of money, lack of staff, lack of equipment, 24/7 job hours with weekends and holidays spent at work, doctors with a God-mentality, irritable patients, nasty families, and some stomach turning job requirements...all leading to a nurse with a wicked sense of humor. But I love what I do and I love that I get to help people and I love that I can go to work and have the potential to save a life, every single day.
