Laurel's Story

I went to Occidental college, majored in psychology, got my doctorate in clinical psychology at California School of Professional Psychology in 1983. I have two sons and a granddaughter. I have been married for 20 years to a wonderful man. I have written five books and am an expert in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMD...Expand for more
R) which I have been teaching since 1995 nationally and internationally. I am the founder and director of the Parnell Institute which trains therapists in EMDR, AF-EMDR and Resource Tapping. I live part time in San Rafael, California where I have an office, and in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. I have an amazing life and am deeply grateful.
