Laurie's Story
Life
I am 28 now and I never thought I would be where I am at now. In Nursing School. I graduate July 30th, 2004, from RCC. I am not currently working, but I can't wait until I get out of school and find a job doing what I have always wanted. I would love to hear from the people I went to school with. If nothing else, just to say "HI".
College
When I first started going to college, I took Information Systems, after 2 years of that, I changed my major to Nursing. And I am really glad I did. This is something that I have always really wanted to do. I graduate this year and I am really gla...Expand for more

Workplace
Before I went back to school, I was working dead-end jobs mostly. (lots of them). I really got tired of that, I wanted to do something that I really enjoyed doing. I am now working at Morehead Nursing Center(as a Nurse) I have only been there for 5 months. I really enjoy my job. It's the only job that I have ever looked forward to going to. I am on a 12 hour night rotation (by my own choice). I am not a morning person, as most of you that I went to school with already know because I was never there.
