I went to Lutheran Nursing School after high school. Graduated (1974) an RN. Worked Pediatric ICU & Neonatal ICU at Cardinal Glennon for 8 years. Also, got my real estate license 1976. (Only sold one house .. to myself, I studied this more so to learn about the process, etc. before buying) Married 1975 to present. Had 5 Children, Male-1977, M-1979, M- 1981, Female-1985, F-1988. Retired RN job 1982, but did volunteer nursing at YMCA Camp Lakewood several years, 2 weeks a year in July, late 80's to mid 90's. In 1988 I bought a 210 acre farm in rural Missouri and spend about 1/3 of my time there, (ever since.) Bought and sold (speculatively) Florida real estate 1996 to 2000. Bred and raced thoroughbreds 1996 to present. Manage one Florida property, I kept. I still live in Missouri, never moved away .. but have traveled a bit throughout the years with the horses and Florida real estate. One of my biggest surprises in life is the way my kids turned out. They are not really a disappointment but very different from how I thought they would be. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my bathroom and add on a bidet. My dream home would be a ranch with ten foot ceilings and a 4 car garage.
