Life
Autobiography - Lawrence H. Alexander
Lawrence has over 30 years experience in the industry, delivering enterprise level software and service solutions across North America. He has worked at various management levels, as well as in marketing and sales, with several multi-national companies. Each step of the way, he has successfully built a leading edge sales complement, providing business solutions, professional services and enterprise level application integration.
Lawrence is currently the Director for Customer Sucess for Veritas LLP. Veritas is a global leader in infrastructure software providing data protection and information insight helping provide actionable strategies for both.
Previously, Lawrence was responsible for Strategic Market Solutions as Senior Director for the Americas for Hummingbird Ltd, a leading enterprise content management software provider. Previously as General Manager he led all enterprise sales efforts, sales channel development, strategic partner development and marketing for the Canadian market. He was instrumental in the successful sale of Hummingbird Enterprise across all levels of the Canadian government as well as developing a vertical industry focus and growing Canadian markets by 152 percent representing...Expand for more
over 24 percent of the Americas enterprise revenue. As Director of Channel Sales in the U.S. for Hummingbird Ltd., he doubled the percentage of its U.S. revenue through indirect channels and generated nearly 20 percent of Hummingbird's gross annual revenue.
Throughout the 1980's and 1990's Lawrence held a series of sales, marketing and operations management positions at Medar Inc., Farmington hills, MI. USA, an industrial automation control and information products and services company. There he was instrumental forming technology partnerships with major robotic and industrial automation alliances and in establishing global representation through joint ventures.
Lawrence studied at the Schulich School of Business as well as the Canadian Institute of Management at York University in Toronto, Ontario. He also attended the electronics technology diploma program at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario.

Lawrence is married and the father of four children. His interests include family, gardening, skiing, sailing and sports of all kind.
