Leanne's Story

I always wanted to be a Nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I have lived in West Chester PA for 6 years and moved after 5th grade to Erie PA and lived there for 19 years and married twice and had a wonderful daughter from the second marriage and she is now a 21 year old college student at NC Chapel Hill junior studying Computer Science and Information Science and plans to get her Masters Degree. We moved to Winston-Salem, NC in 1990 when my Dad was transferred. I went with them since I had just divorced and had my young daughter. After living with my parents for 4 years my daughter and I moved into our own home and I lived there until November 30th of 2009 and I had to sell. I now live in a wonderful apartment and love it very much as I have no responsibilities of inside problems or outside duties. I still live in the Winston-Salem ...Expand for more
area. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Barbara Fries, because she was my best friend in West Chester PA. My biggest surprise about Life is even though I thought married life would be so wonderful and having a family, it turns out I was wrong. The thing you have to remember is picking the proper person! They know a lot more than you think even though they are younger and may not have been through the long life you have. If I won $100 million, I'd give a third of it to Mom , then spend the rest on a new car , a new car for my daughter and give her what she needs and save some for the future and go on a cruise and go on trips. My current age is 50. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be ancient. I was so completely wrong. I share my home with my cat , which I find soothing and no one to answer to. One do over in my life,,, would be to marry the right person.
