Leazer's Story
Life
Born in Brooklyn, NY, my family moved to Manhattan when I was 5 months old, where we lived on Morningside Drive. After moving to SC, and transferring back and forth, I attended Carolina High in '72 and continued through '75. Music has always played a huge part in my life. My best year was during the time I sang in Advanced Chorus with William Massey as our director in 1974-'75. I was also one of the first students to represent the school by attending Fine Arts Center. Singing with All State that year was momentous, performing Brahms Requiem. The radio station that existed at that time, WQOK, provided a spot for some of us to sing on the air. What memories! rced, after getting married during my 12th grade year, and have 3 children: 2 sons and a daughter! No grandchildren, but my youngest son and daughter are married. Life is good, and very interesting. God has never stopped watching over me, and my children are proof of that. I recorded a gospel CD with Minister Larry McCullough and Chosen Generation of Greenville, SC, and currently in the process of doing some more work. Still love writing and creating. Plays and poetry projects have been penned or performed during the past several years since high school. I appreciate every experience that has been endured, along with each lesson learned.
