Life Soon after graduating, I joined up with a band and had some minor success. Perhaps you heard our song which got some radio play in the summer of '79 called "Roller Boogie Fever". It was also used in the sound track for a movie of the same name. The movie didn't do that well at the box office, but not because of the music. The kids probably weren't ready to accept our star - that fat chick from "Facts of Life" - as a legitimate roller boogie queen. It's a pretty demanding lifestyle as most of you know and Linda Blair was the benchmark in those days, so the bar was set pretty high. But it wasn't long after we hit the big time that I began to contemplate my existence - was there something more to life than groupies and blow? Although I found out later that groupies and blow actually made for a pretty good life - I was still very young and naive, so I left the band and drifted into college at the University of Harvard where I eventually got my PHD in Nuclear Quantum Brain Surgery.
